Brian Willems is assistant professor of literature at the University of Split, Croatia. His academic and creative work recently appeared in Battlestar Galatica and Philosophy, artUS, The Antioch Review, and others. He is finsihing a book on Gerard Manley Hopkins and Martin Heidegger and a novel about composer Henry Purcell and his 20th century biographer.
