James Riley is a graduate student at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on Beat and counter-cultural writing and the idea of recording. Riley has also written on cult cinema, noir fiction, and pulp novels. He regularly organizes strange and occasionally chaotic film and music events under the banner of "Fleapit."
