Lisa Yaszek is Assistant Professor in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her first book, The Self Wired: Technology and Subjectivity in Contemporary Narrative, was published by Routledge in 2002. Her current project is tentatively called Galactic Suburbia: Housewife Heroines, Lady Scientists, and the Lost History of Midcentury Women's Fiction.
